Kendall Bentz

Kendall serves as a trusted advisor to major industry associations and corporate leaders on issues central to their business strategy and market positioning. Over his 25-year career, he has built an extensive record of client successes on policy priorities, contentious issues, and leadership campaigns.
Kendall’s advocacy experience encompasses some of the highest-profile issues in Washington and beyond for industries including energy, retail, leisure, technology and manufacturing. He has developed and led integrated advocacy campaigns that moved public opinion and shaped public policy outcomes. He has overseen client communications strategy during major crises and managed litigation communications for class actions, mass torts and white-collar cases.
Prior to co-founding Prologue, Kendall was a Partner at High Lantern Group, a firm he helped launch in 2009. Over a dozen years, Kendall led the firm’s Washington, DC office and its policy advocacy work, including with major industry associations. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant with the White House Writers Group.
Kendall graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He currently lives in Washington, D.C.

Managed a major advocacy campaign on behalf of the U.S. travel industry to successfully convince two different presidential administrations to keep the U.S. air travel market open to growing service from international airlines – boosting consumer choice and job growth.
Helped the casino gaming industry develop and execute a winning campaign to legalize sports betting in the U.S. by highlighting harm the illegal gambling market caused for consumers, states, and sports leagues.
Helped develop the strategy for a major behavior change campaign – including research, messaging, and earned media – aimed at convincing Americans to use more of their paid time off.
Helped a Fortune 50 corporation devise a new Washington, DC positioning strategy to improve its ability to advocate key policy priorities.
Worked with an insurance trade association’s board and leadership team to design a marketing and communications campaign to help member companies tap new business opportunities in an underserved market.
Helped a Fortune 50 tech company win a seminal antitrust battle by partnering closely with economists and legal experts to develop key arguments and research insights.
