Tita Freeman

Tita brings to Prologue more than 25 years of expertise counseling industry associations on strategic communications, reputational positioning and advocacy leadership in Washington, D.C. Tita has led communications for Washington’s top trade organizations, including the Business Roundtable and the National Retail Federation, and helped lead communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She has advised numerous association and corporate clients on how to define and champion winning advocacy agendas, drive thought leadership and strengthen visibility and relevance. She has extensive experience developing and executing communications campaigns on issues ranging from sustainability to corporate governance to trade expansion to education and health care reform. Tita founded the DC Communicators group, the first group of its kind convening association and corporate communications leaders to network and share best practices. Through her work she has developed an extensive network of trusted contacts in the association, corporate and media communities.

Tita is a past recipient of PR Week’s 40 under 40 award and has provided pro bono consulting to the Arlington Free Clinic and The Luv u Project. She has a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Williams College and lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband, Geoff, and three children.
